Basic Tips

• Give your kitten a "bedroom" - a safe and quite place. Keep all their things there together - A Bed, Food, Water, Litter Tray, Toys.. Make sure the food, water and bed, are kept away from the litter tray - (Cats like things clean).

• For the Litter Tray - I use tray liners, and a clumping type litter, in a plastic tray. Fill a 1/4 full with litter at first then keep topping up when it gets dirty (from urine), but always remove poos - I use nappy bags! Then properly change and wash the tray about once a week depending on how dirty it gets.

• Food and Water - Use shallow bowls kept on a plastic mat. I have two for wet and dry food and one for water. Make sure water is kept FRESH! - for healthy kidneys. And your kitten will know the difference - or at least Prince Panda only wants the best! - He's fussy! ;)

• A Bed - not too important as I made Panda a bed (a box with a cushion and towel in) but he never sleeps in it but sleeps anywhere else. Favourite spots - window sill (with a blanket on above the radiator), chairs and my bed! Just make sure they have options of nice warm, dry, comfy, quiet, dark places. (Panda loves the dark and quiet)

• Toys - you can create a kitten toy out of anything!! Panda's Favourites - straws, pingpong balls, teddies, ribbons, chopsticks, pens, cardboard boxes...
